1. What is the benefit of the online stock locator for me?

In the online stock locator, you will find the latest BMW bikes that are available now from our national stock pool. You can purchase any of these bikes for your preferred BMW Motorrad dealer.

2. Why is it not possible to configure these bikes?

These are bikes that have already been manufactured. But, as with a new order, you can of course add optional accessories at a later date. Please contact your dealer to discuss your individual requirements.

3. Can I only buy pre-configured bikes or bikes that have already been manuctured from the online stock locator?

Yes, only bikes already in production. The bikes shown are models that are available at short notice from BMW Motorrad dealer of your choice.

4. If I want to add more accessories to the bike, can the dealer do that on site as well?

Yes, your dealer will be happy to arrange for your new bike to be fitted with optional accessories. Once you have made your reservation or purchase, your dealer will contact you to discuss the details.

5. Once I have found a bike I like, what happens next?

1. Click on "Get in Touch"

2. Enter your contact details 

3. You will receive a confirmation by email after you make the submit your request.

4. The dealer will contact you as soon as possible, within one business day.

6. When will the BMW Motorrad dealer contact me?

As soon as you fill in the data transmission form, a notification is sent to the dealer, who will contact you within one business day.

7. How is the bike delivered?

1. The dealer will contact you after your request is received.

2. You will then agree on the delivery date for the bike and all other necessary formalities with your dealer.

3. You then simply sign the order form... and collect your new bike from your dealer.

8. Can I test ride the bike before I buy it?

In principle, this is possible! If the dealer cannot offer you this particular bike for a test ride, they may be able to offer you a similar model for a test ride. Please ask them about this.

9. How does the vehicle registration work and can I keep my number plate?

You should speak with your preferred dealer about registering the bike. They will also be able to assist if you need to interchange your number plate.

10. Is it possible to finance or apply for a loan for the bike?

Yes, BMW Financial Services is available for loan financing. Please discuss with your preferred dealer once they have contacted you.

11. Is it possible to trade in my used bike?

In principle, yes. Once your preferred dealer has contacted you, they will be able explain the procedure for trading in your bike. Please note: the dealer is the sole arbiter of whether or not to accept the trade-in of your used bike.

12. How long before I recieve my new bike?

The time between ordering and delivery of the vehicle varies. Consult your dealer for more information. We always do our best to deliver your bike as quickly as possible.
