Do you love riding in a group? But you don’t like having to stop whenever you want to say something? The Bike-to-Bike communication module makes it possible to communicate in a group of six riders while on the road. Because one driver and one pillion rider helmet can be connected per module, a total of up to 12 people can communicate together. And if the connection is broken, it will be restored automatically as soon as the users are in range of one another again: for wireless, mutual riding enjoyment.
To switch the communication module on or off, hold the three buttons for three seconds then simply operate the device using the free app. The three buttons or the app are always used to operate the module: Double-pressing switches to pairing mode, which links Bluetooth devices, for helmets, group communication, telephones, or the BMW Motorrad Navigator. And you can select individual menu items with one simple press.
Depending on the amount of conversation and number of connected Bluetooth devices, the communication module can be operated for up to 9 hours; it is supplied by a lithium-ion polymer battery with 1400 mAh. The LEDs will blink to show the charge immediately after the module is switched on.
The ultralight Bike-to-Bike communication module weighs just 125 g and is the perfect functional, helmet-independent add-on for all current BMW Motorrad communication systems. The module transmits speech (communication, navigation prompts, and telephony) but not music.
The module software is updated using the app called “Bike-to-Bike communication”. Detailed operating instructions are included with the product and available online.
Whether alone or with a pillion rider: Thanks to its numerous highlights, the Bike-to-Bike communication module will quickly become a companion that you won’t want to forget:
